Exemplary teacher
R. M. Scott of Valrico recounts how a student came home from school and reported that his teacher let him rework his mistakes and get a grade of "C" instead of "F" on a math test ("A day in school," Letters, March 15). Scott references various "teacher pay for performance" bills currently under consideration and castigates the teacher for padding the student's grades to possibly increase his salary.
