If you're driving north on Interstate 275 this morning, you'll find yourself breaking in its new lanes. The shift began over the weekend, and three of the new northbound lanes are open between Himes Avenue and Ashley Drive. In addition, the Himes Avenue entrance ramp reopened Sunday. Since my letter to you regarding the problem of non-synchronized traffic lights on U.S. 27, I have also read about other people who have witnessed the same problem. Now as I understand, a mandate has been issued by the leaders in our country to conserve energy, i.e. gas, diesel, electricity and countless other things.
