Hijacked At The Pump If big oil can't make it on crude oil, they make it on refining. The last time oil hit a low of $34 a barrel we paid $1.59 a gallon for regular. Now we're hijacked at the pump at $1.93. Part of the stimulus package should be an excess profit tax on big oil to finance infrastructure. ...more

The sign towering above the Citgo station at U.S. 98 and U.S. 27 listed unleaded gasoline for sale at almost $4.80 cents a gallon, while just a couple of miles away, the Citgo and Stop 'n Shop Food Stores, at U.S. 27 and Golfview Road, cost less than $3.70 a gallon. ...more
