Not everyone in Highlands County opposes everything our president is trying to accomplish. There are many of us in this county who understand the significance this health reform bill holds for the many residents in this county. Many families in our community will benefit from this reform yet these same people are the ones watching extreme conservative television and being spoon-fed rhetoric nonsense. When we free ourselves from the fear that controls us we can think clearly about what our options are. I am outraged that our country would even consider amnesty for illegals at a time when our economy is in the state that it is. Our welfare, healthcare, senor citizen's care system is strained as it is and adding more to the system will be devastating to our country. Unlike Rush Limbaugh, we don't want President Barack Obama to fail. If he does, then our country fails. What works in Tampa might be a little too personal for Berlin. The federal Transportation Security Administration inaugurated use of a version of a full-body imaging security scanner Friday at Tampa International Airport without incident, airport spokeswoman Brenda Geoghagan said. The device allows screeners to peer beneath clothing for banned items.
