Nazdar, The first Sweetheart Dance, sponsored by the Masaryktown Activities Club on Feb. 15, was a success. When folks don't want to go home and want to know when the next one is scheduled - you know it was successful. Approximately 120 folks enjoyed dancing, music for all ages by the deejays Vintage, who are Nick and Rusty. The can be reached at 352-592-9651 for Nick or 352-684-0695 for Rusty. Sweetheart photos were taken by Danunzio Films - Wayne and brother David Danunzio who can be reached at 352-428-8077. Both groups did a superb job. Big "thank yous" to all who attended and to Gladys Badowski, Susan Compton, our BP Store "Richie Rich," Sandra Roach, Becky Evans, Melanie Olson-Arsenault, Dian Stokey, Niki Levesque, and all others who helped set up, take down, shopped, decorated, cleaned, and all the other areas that it took to make this so notable and successful of a dance. ...more
