THE DIFFERENCE: Trailing 33-28 and facing fourth and long in the final two minutes, Plant City quarterback Clint Stearns hit running back Keith Dawson with a short pass which he then took 79-yards for the game-winning touchdown. Leading by one, the Raiders elected to go for the two-point conversion. The conversion attempt seemed to be a success as Dawson scampered into the end zone, but the Raiders were flagged for holding. On the second try, Dawson again got the handoff, but was tackled three yards shy of the end zone. Freedom received the ball back with 2:43 left in the game but was unable to mount a comeback. ...more
