SEBRING — Sam Robinson and T.J. Williams put pen to paper and took the next step in their athletic and academic lives on Wednesday, as both Sebring football standouts signed letters of intent to play football at separate community colleges in Mississippi. Robinson, a multi-talented, multi-position offensive weapon, will head to Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Miss., while Williams, a bruising running back, will take his talents to Holmes Community College in Goodman, Miss. "I want to continue to work on my game, be coachable and be the best I can be," said Williams, who has family in Mississippi and noted he'll likely line up as a running back for the Bulldogs. PALMETTO –– The laughs and jeers on the way to the football field by some spectators didn't go unnoticed by the Avon Park Red Devil football players, who have found new strength in this watershed season. AVON PARK — There's a saying in prize fighting: Everyone has a plan until they've been hit. Well, the Avon Park Red Devils have been hit from all sides — even from themselves — and now find themselves on the gridiron canvas. The question is whether they can pick themselves up and turn around what looks to be a lost season. Or is it?
