The Eagles (6-3) soared into the district playoffs after pounding the Cougars (6-3) at home. East Lake set the tone by recovering a fumble on the opening kick-off. By the 2nd quarter the Eagles converted 2 interceptions and a blocked punt into touchdowns, taking them to an early 21-0 lead.
