If you are dreaming of a white Christmas then you might be in luck. Tucked away in a little office in downtown New Port Richey a white Christmas wonderland has come alive with snow covered grounds, Christmas carols playing and a train going around a picturesque village that took about a week to set up. The creator of the lighted village is Lin Tipton, who meticulously spent a week configuring the Yuletide tableau. Tipton has been collecting items that comprise the villages for roughly 40 years. Nazdar, The Octoberfest Dinner is coming from noon to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5 in the Fellowship Hall at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on U.S. 41. On the menu will be bratwurst, cabbage rolls, sauerkraut, German potato salad, rye bread, dessert and a beverage - for a donation of $8 for adult, $4 for children under 10, or the family plan for $20.
