Regarding "Don't Trash Junk Mail; City To Recycle It" (Metro, June 19): I would like to commend the city of Tampa for adding so many more items to the recycling list. This makes recycling so much easier. I am a teacher as well as a homemaker. I have always emphasized both at home and in my classroom, the importance of the "Four R's": reuse, recycle and reduce all in the context of respect for our precious Earth. But recycling has not always been made easy. Now that the city has added many more items to their collection list starting today, it is very easy for the citizens to recycle almost everything that makes up so much of our garbage. ...more
