The Fourth of July brought old-fashioned fun to the Pasco County Fairgrounds. The annual Sparklebration included apple pie and hot dog eating contests, balloon artists, clowns and more, and parachutists from Skydive City in Zephyrhills dropped in with flags. At a time when most people are struggling, major banks that have obtained taxpayer monies through bailout programs have decided to "help" the consumer by lowering credit limits and increasing interest rates. Isn't it ironic that banks such as Bank of America, Citicorp., HSBC, etc., which have obtained so much of our money to cover their screw-ups, now want to turn the screws on the consumer even further than they have in the past? ...more
