A man was jailed Saturday following accusations he sneaked into a woman's room and sexually battered her while she was asleep.
Dinh Pham Ruby, 43, of 6344 Cammie St. in Brooksville, was booked at 2 a.m. at the Hernando County Jail and held without bail.
The woman, whose name and age were not disclosed by the Hernando County Sheriff's Office, was asleep in her bedroom when Ruby unlocked the door using a butter knife, according to an arrest affidavit.
He took off some of her clothes and fondled her, at which time the woman woke up, told him "no" and pushed him away, deputies said.
The woman left the house and called 911, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies said Ruby had been in a prior relationship with the accuser.
Ruby was intoxicated when questioned and admitted to entering the woman's bedroom, but declined to elaborate or cooperate further, deputies said.
The affidavit showed Ruby is employed as a nail technician.
