Inquisitive minds

LEN TRIA, UNCOMMON SENSE

Remember several years ago the expression, "Inquisitive minds have to know" or something similar to that?

Well, inquisitive minds are asking questions of this administration that allegedly was to be the most transparent administration but their opacity rating is zero. Many questions remain about the death of our Ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens.

We still have not been given a post mortem report as to the condition of the ambassador's body. How exactly did he die, what was the physical condition of his body? Is there any truth to the rumor that his body was defiled?

Watching the purported video of him being taken out of the consulate it does not appear to show a very sympathetic crowd but instead the usual mindless bloodthirsty variety. Watching another one that we are supposed to believe people were trying to help him it is obvious the he was either dead or unconscious with a wound to his head.

Why is the administration not coming clean on these questions and other questions about the incident? On the Sunday news shows Ambassador Susan Rice was the most unconvincing spokesperson regarding the cause of the storming of the Libyan consulate.

She continued the party line that it was because of a 15-minute trailer mocking the Prophet of Islam. Subsequently the administration has had to walk that line of obfuscation back and it seems that the Libyan president was more on target about the attack being a preplanned one by Radical Islamist factions to coincide with the 9/11 anniversary.

Where the security that we now find out was local hired guns that it is now claimed gave up the secure location of Stevens so he could be murdered. The country has been humiliated by the barbaric acts and our president talks about it as if it were a TV show.

The press ridiculed George W. Bush for "Mission Accomplished" but has not begun to chastise President Obama for his 17 spikes of the Bin Laden killing that probably had more to do with events than the movie trailer.

Crowds in Cairo were distinctly heard cheering they were Osama as the wrecked havoc on our embassy. Demonstrations in over 21 countries show how much our "debtor-in chief" has restored the honor and respect that he claimed his predecessor had destroyed.

One has only to go back to his pre-election speeches where he claimed the country would look differently on itself and the world would look differently on the United States. Well, there is no doubt about the world looking differently at us because he has apologized for almost anything he can think about.

He is looked upon as being weak and ineffective and unable to cope with the challenges of leadership. He has surrounded himself with a bunch of like-minded one worlders who do not believe in American exceptionalism.

He has made it clear that we are retreating from the Middle East to relocate to the Far East and that has our enemies laughing their heads off. We no longer lead with peace through strength but have become leaderless and weak.
