Unions neededPublished: September 7, 2012
On Labor Day I witnessed just what our country is going to become if the Republicans should win this election.
I saw one man driving a Republic trash truck, getting out of the truck, picking up the garbage, getting back into the truck and doing this at each house.
How can one man do all this work? I hope he gets paid for doing two jobs in this heat. I'm sure this benefits the company as they only have to pay one man for doing the job of two.
We need unions to protect the workers. In my opinion is inhumane.

Seaside service suspect
It seems after all this time that Seaside Sanitation has not improved its service. Our day for recycling is Monday and we were missed again this week.
I called and was told to leave it out and they would pick up on Tuesday. Well they did not pick it up. We have more misses than pickups for recycling.
They always ask if it was put out the night before and yes it was.
Our county officials gave a contract to a company that has numerous complaints against it. It seems as if Seaside doesn't care much about service being that they are locked in for years. There should be a clause in the contract that it could be broken in the case of defective service.
This coming election we need to fire all the county commissioners for doing this to us.

Chris and Charlie
Everyone knows Chris Matthews is a very vocal liberal but no one expected he would have the poor taste to invite Charlie Crist to his broadcast booth during the Republican National Convention.
No secret where Charlie's interest lie. He works for John Morgan of Morgan and Morgan law firm who is a supporter and contributor of the Obama re-election campaign.
Poor Charlie, couldn't make it as a governor, the people rejected him for the Senate, so where can a guy go to get some recognition?
Well, to begin with, Charlie needed a job. Morgan and Morgan was hiring, especially rejected politicians.
So Charlie got some TV coverage next to the very loud and liberal Chris Matthews. Gee Charlie, what happened to all those good things you had to say about the Republican Party when you were looking for our votes?
Guess job security became your number one priority. I Can't blame you with the current unemployment fiasco created by your current leader, Barack Obama. I wonder after the election, regardless of who wins, how many people will be willing to hire you on as their attorney to handle their affairs?
And for you Chris Matthews, try to show a little bit of class once in a while.
