Homeless man charged with disturbing the peace outside Sweet Frog in Spring Hill

SPRING HILL - A 40-year-old homeless man was arrested Monday evening after causing a disturbance outside the Sweet Frog yogurt shop near the intersection of U.S. 19 and Osowaw Blvd.Published: November 13, 2012
Ryan Krych was charged with disorderly condition, breach of peace and assault and battery on a law enforcement officer following the incident.
According to the arrest report, Krych was harassing customers as they entered and exited Sweet Frog.
Witnesses said he appeared intoxicated.
When customers refused to give him money, he cursed and then spat on several vehicles as he walked away, the report said.
Deputies located Krych a short distance away from the yogurt shop.
Krych had several open beers on the ground near his feet.
When the deputy asked Krych about what had occurred at Sweet Frog, he became irate, according to the report.
Krych then approached the deputy who immediately handcuffed Krych and attempted to place him in the patrol car. Krych spit on the deputy as he tried to close the car door.
He continued to spit all over the backseat of the vehicle.
After being indentified as the man causing the disturbance at Sweet Frog he was transported to the Hernando County Jail without further incident.
His bond was set at $5,500.
