Alice Street closed for repairs Tuesday

BROOKSVILLE - The Hernando County Division of Transportation Services announced Alice Street will be partially closed Tuesday.

Workers will replace a damaged metal culvert pipe. The street is a low-volume, local residential lime rock road connecting Blair Avenue and Moss Street and provides access to the Silver Hills subdivision.

Emergency access will be available at all times through the Moss gate and residents will have access to their homes. The repair work on Alice originally was scheduled for July 3, but due to damage caused by Tropical Storm Debby, the project was rescheduled.
