Government offices closed Monday and Tuesday

Hernando County government offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday in observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

All offices and facilities will reopen on Wednesday.

The Northwest Hernando County Solid Waste Facility and the eastside and westside Solid Waste Convenience Centers will be closed Tuesday. The convenience centers are always closed on Mondays.

There will be no trash or recycling collection service by Republic Services on Tuesday. Tuesday's trash collection will be made on the customers' next scheduled collection day, Friday, and recycling collection will be on Jan. 8.
