BROOKSVILLE - Teenage brothers were arrested Saturday after allegedly stealing a PlayStation console, games and the wallets of two Hillsborough County victims.

Arrangements to purchase the PlayStation were made over email, and the two parties met at 1 a.m. Friday at Blanche's Project, 25143 Cortez Blvd.

When the men parked by the gas pumps, they were robbed by the brothers, ages 15 and 13, at gunpoint. The 15-year-old is believed to have pistol-whipped one of the victims. Hernando Today is not releasing the names of the brothers because of their ages.

The brothers then fled the scene. Neither man was seriously injured.

The altercation was caught on surveillance video, and on Saturday, one of the suspects returned to the store. When questioned by detectives, the suspect admitted to the robbery.

Sheriff detectives searched the suspects' father's home, recovering the stolen property, two handguns and other property believed to have been stolen.

Both brothers were arrested on felony charges of armed robbery, with the 15-year-old additionally charged with aggravated battery.
