SPRING HILL - A woman with no prior retail theft charges was arrested Friday for stealing a Red Bull from a gas station.

According to a Hernando County Sheriff Office report, Michelle Craft of Spring Hill opened the drink at Circle K at 13934 Linden Drive in Spring Hill last Wednesday, pouring it into a to-go cup.

Craft, a 31-year-old employee of Pasco Hernando Community College, then paid 69 cents for the refill, not the Red Bull valued at $5.

When Craft returned to the Circle K on Friday, she was apprehended by the store manager. The report states Craft admitted to stealing the beverage, and is being held in the Hernando County Jail on $250 bond.
