Spring Hill man, 58, dies after accident

SPRING HILL - A 58-year-old man died Thursday afternoon a couple blocks from his home after he suffered a medical emergency while driving, troopers said.

Michael Raymond Gorski, of Spring Hill, was traveling south along Stallings Avenue near Corinthian Street when he suffered a medical condition and lost control of his 1990 Ford and struck a mailbox, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers were not specific about the medical condition.

Gorski was transported to Spring Hill Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to FHP.

Troopers are still investigating.
