Hudson crash claims life of Spring Hill woman

HUDSON A two-car crash killed two Sunday night in Hudson, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.Published: August 6, 2012
Officials say Bridgette Ewing, 46, of Spring Hill, was driving northbound on U.S. Hwy. 19 in the right lane when a 2013 Volkswagen in the center lane driven by Albert Friedman, 81, struck her 1999 Saturn in the rear, forcing both vehicles onto the right shoulder.
Both vehicles overturned and struck a light pole, officials say. Ewing and a passenger, 47-year-old Vincent P. Dicristo of Port Richey, died at the scene.
Friedman was admitted to Bayonet Point Hospital with serious injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by the FHP.
