U.N.'s latest trick no treaty
TBO.comOnce again the American people have responded overwhelmingly to block the signing of the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.

Hundreds of thousands of emails were sent to members of the Senate asking them to not support the treaty. As a result, fifty-one Senators sent a letter to Secretary of State Clinton urging her not to sign the treaty on July 27.
The treaty will have to be reworked and probably will not resurface before the presidential election. This is another ill-fated project of the U.N. globalists to have the United States give away more of its sovereignty to a bunch of third-world dictators.
It is a complete farce as the U.N. appointed Iran to one of the 15 posts regulating the treaty. It is absurd that 193 countries voted unanimously to grant the post to Iran. What makes this even more absurd is that a recent Security Council report cited Iran for sending illegal arms supplies to Syria used to kill Syrian civilians.
Let's not forget that this is the same Iran that the Security Council approved four rounds of sanctioning against regarding its failure to halt its nuclear program.
There can be no doubt that the U.N. has gone the way of the ill-fated League of Nations and should be abolished. The U.S. could save billions of dollars that go to countries that despise America. .
Does anyone really think that this kind of treaty will stop countries from arming their perceived allies in various parts of the world? Behold how our reset relations with Russia have worked wonders as they have voted against this treaty, along with good friends China, Egypt, Syria, Iran and Venezuela, to name a few.
This is another example of do-gooders and people who will not or cannot face reality. They think that with the stroke of a pen and some flowery rhetoric they can change human nature, but as history teaches us we usually wind up in more difficulty rather than less.
This type of action is repeated in the Law of the Sea Treaty, which is in the wings and waiting to resurface before the U.N. globalists. They will try to exact a tax on us by demanding we share our royalties from gas and oil production with the third-world countries.
First of all, who needs these treaties that only diminish our sovereignty and give power to a bunch of dictators who only want to tap into the U.S. Treasury?
Somebody said it's time to get the U.N. out of the U.S. and then the U.S. out of the U.N.: Truer words were never spoken.
Let's spend more time fixing what's broken in this country and getting our people back to work and our economy once again performing as it should.
