Who's really telling the truthPublished: April 26, 2012
Last week Anthony Palmieri wrote a letter to the editor claiming to be a "good conservative Republican" while attacking local Republican Party Chairman Blaise Ingoglia.
He claimed that Ingoglia was telling "half truths" in his article "The end of America as we know it." This offends me not only as a conservative activist in Hernando County, but as a friend.
I think everyone is keenly aware that the Senate has to confirm any Supreme Court nomination made by President Obama and with the Democrats controlling this body they will be a rubber stamp for any judicial nominee.
Mr. Palmieri is just parsing words in an attempt to impeach the credibility of a man who spends a lot of time and his own money contributing to the conservative cause.
I ask you this, Mr. Palmieri – what have you done lately to help this nation, and future generations, except for wrongly criticize the people who are trying to make a difference?
Oh, by the way, I am active in politics and rarely see you at any Republican event. So much for you being a "good conservative Republican." I'd suggest you do some heavy lifting, before you call out others who do so.

In need of a real leader
"King Barack The Imperious" boldly strikes again! This time at 113-year-old Barnard College the private all female liberal arts college located on the west side of Manhattan founded in 1899.
According to reliable reports "King Barack" himself telephoned Barnard College President Debora L. Spar to deftly insist that he replace the May 14 commencement day keynote speaker; the celebrated Jill Abramson-first female executive editor in the 160-year-old history of the New York Times.
Indeed, that's no way to treat a lady. However, Spar regrettably capitulated; permitting this President to use the Barnard College Commencement as a political forum. For your information, Ms. Abramson joined the New York Times in 1997.
As America has ruefully come to expect, this all too familiar No. 44 power play was conveniently disregarded by both the media and the "outgoing" 44th administration. In my view, President Obama still knows little if anything about governance; although he apparently knows everything about running roughshod over anyone especially women.
Is this the kind of bona fide leader America needs? Not unless you are a wacko czar; notably "nudge" driven Professor Cass R. Sunstein Obama's Regulatory Chief, plus Sunstein's own wife Samantha Power, senior foreign affairs advisor to the "exiting" President.
Power is a self-admitted "Genocide Chick" reportedly specifically appointed by Obama to deflagrate Israel; another Barnard College-like No. 44 power play. That said, how can any knowledge limited constitutional scholar actually produce a speech which sounds anywhere near logical to a Barnard College class level of 94.6 on a 100 point scale when far too aggressively forcing himself into the choice for commencement day keynoter?
"King Barack The Imperious" courts the women's vote only because it has become and will continue to remain a massive block of voters. I believe at best President Obama is an opportunistic politician "trained" by radical Saul Alinsky.
Accordingly, he is in no way deserving of a second term nor major voting support from women come Nov. 6! My boomer wife joined by the undersigned Octogenarian trust that Barnard College President Deborah L. Spar will invite presumed Republican presidential candidate Gov. Mitt Romney to speak at a key Barnard College special event prior the aforementioned election for our next President.
In any case, the press amd national TV have a moral if not non-partisan obligation to avoid scuttling bona fide hard news pursuant the justified referenced Barnard College brouhaha when the Presidency of the United States is at stake!
