Habitual offender arrested again

Police responded Thursday to the courthouse following reports of a couple arguing while seated inside a pickup.

The arresting Brooksville police officer responded to 20 N. Main St., checked the passenger's identification and realized she was wanted on charges of leaving the scene of a crash with property damage and driving with a suspended or revoked license, according to a media release.

Jennifer Frances Harper, 27, of 3378 Minnow Creek Drive in Hernando Beach, was transported to the Hernando County Jail. Her bail was set at $2,250.

Harper has been arrested several times during the past couple years on allegations ranging from hit-and-run to retail theft, according to jail records.
