Gil "Papi" Vera Nieves, 73, of Brooksville, died Aug. 31. He was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico.
Survivors include a son, Gil; and a daughter, Beth.
Arrangements by Brewer & Sons Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.

Dixie G. Cattell, 84, of Spring Hill, died Sept. 5.
Survivors include his son, James Hendrickson; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
