Superb job by NCT coach

I must disagree with Brian Moore, as I do with everything he writes, when he says NCT basketball coach Dave Pisarcik "let his team and school down" in their loss to Leesburg, 60-47, in the 4A regional semifinal. 

His critical report of the game was quite good for someone who only arrived at halftime. Perhaps he showed up to see a relative or friend among the NCT second stringers who didn't get in the game. Those backups did not get "cheated" for not being used, even if Pisarcik's decision is questionable. Those benchwarmers contributed importantly to the team's success by practicing daily. The Sharks graduate just one senior this year, so they should be very competitive next year. I believe it is time to praise coach Pisarcik and his team for their extraordinary performance throughout the season. The best team that night, Leesburg, won and went on to win the state championship.
