Spring Hill man accused of sexually assaulting teenage girl

A man was arrested after a 16-year-old girl reported he had sexual relations with her on two separate occasions, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.

Nicardo A. Hamilton, 23, of 9400 Carthage Road, was charged with sexual battery against a victim 16 years old and lewd and lascivious battery against a victim younger than 16 years old.

Deputies said the girl told them Hamilton met her near her home in February and the two briefly had sexual intercourse. She was 15 years old at the time, reports show.

She said the two met again the night of Aug. 30 in the same vicinity, according to an arrest affidavit.

The victim suffered injuries during their second encounter. Those injuries were confirmed by a sexual assault victim examination, deputies said.

When the girl told Hamilton he had injured her, he said, "You got what you deserved," according to the sheriff's office.

While questioned by authorities, Hamilton said he thought the girl was 17 or 18 years old, deputies said.

He was arrested at the Hernando County Jail and held without bond.
