A man was arrested on a charge of dealing in stolen property after he sold three kaleidoscopes on eBay in February, deputies said.

Robert Norman Benson, of 7345 Hiawatha Parkway, is accused of selling a stained-glass kaleidoscope on dual wheels, a tri-colored marble kaleidoscope on a stand and a rare tri-colored stained-glass kaleidoscope.

They were sold on eBay for $16.51, $167.50 and $55.54, respectively, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.

Benson stole all three items during a residential burglary, deputies said.

He refused to answer questions about the sales or the burglaries after authorities arrested him, according to a sheriff's report.
