Given that the former 2,000 page Obamacare bill is now up to something like 2,700 pages, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi actually had the nerve to say in front of a group that Congress needed to pass the bill before they could see what was in it!
For anyone who believes this gross abomination, which takes more than 16 percent of our economy, needs to be handled this way, allow me to ask you a question:
"Would you ever sign a contract for the purchase of a house or a car without knowing what was in it? Things like finance rates, finance periods, penalty terms, payoff restrictions, etc.?"
If you have a lick of common sense the answer is "no!" So why should this bill be any different?
If you agree with Pelosi, this bill is not only for you but you are stupid. Yes! Stupid.
Maybe what we ought to do is force every single member who votes "yes" to this bill to then sign new contracts for their homes and cars wherein we, the people, get to write their terms and they can't see it.
Something tells me they'd not be too keen on the idea.
Democrats are the party that believes we should do as they say but not as they do. If you still don't believe me, why is it they got pay raises while the rest of Americans are getting pay cuts?
