Two men were arrested early Friday morning after a deputy responded to a report of a commercial burglary.
The deputy arrived shortly before 12:45 a.m. and saw two defendants at Coast to Coast Sprinklers, located at 4031 Lamson Ave., according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.
Kenneth L. Burton, 28, was found near the south side of the gates surrounding the building. Nearby was a box of items which appeared to have come from inside the business, deputies said.
Steven J. Ogles, 25, was inside the gates and burglary tools were found on him, the report showed.
The deputy stated Ogles had gloves, a flashlight and a screwdriver in his possession.
Ogles also had a cell phone, which appeared to have been stolen from inside one of the vehicles inside the gated area, according to the report.
Deputies said they were called after a witness saw Burton on the premises.
The fence around the business appeared to be pulled up and held open with piping, the report showed.
Both Burton and Ogles were charged with commercial burglary. Ogles also was charged with possession of burglary tools.
Both men were transported to the Hernando County Jail.
