Health care hypocrites

To be or not to be - that is the question. Whether it is nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous taxes or to take arms against a sea of uninsured Americans and by opposing the Democrats health care reform, end them. Let them stop being; I mean die. Over. Nada.

If we can keep up the going rate of 45,000 Americans who die every year because they don't have health insurance, in just a couple of decades we will cut the uninsured down to 39 million. That is if some more of you dummies out there don't lose yours.

Most all of the Republican lawmakers agree; but you see, I am having a little trouble buying that. I just can't stop thinking about the 45,000 Americans who die. Some of them are relatives and friends and neighbors. If this is not a disaster, then I have never heard of one.

When a disaster happens outside of the United States, we immediately send the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard. They come with hospital ships, doctors, nurses, medicine, food, water and whatever it takes. Do we ask if they have insurance? I don't think so. Do we ask how are you going to pay for this? I don't think so. Do we ask if this is going to raise my taxes? Hell no.

I just cannot stop thinking about my fellow Americans who are dying every day. While I am trying to type this, another two or three died. While I am trying to enjoy my dinner, another two or three died. While I'm out on a boat trying to enjoy the sunset, another five or six died. And especially while I am in church asking God to forgive me for all the stupid things I did last week. That is when it really hits me.

I just cannot get them off of my mind. Some people never think about them and never even mention them.

Please tell me: All of you who are against health care reform, how do you do it?
