Three bus accidents were reported Thursday in Hernando County.

Witness Dennis Yettaw said a car crashed into a school bus sometime before 8 a.m. along Shoal Line Boulevard near Waverly Road.

The driver of the sedan was taken by ambulance to Oak Hill Hospital, according to scanner reports.
Several students were in the bus at the time of the accident, Yettaw said.

The second accident occurred around soon thereafter along Sunshine Grove Road.

A spokesman with the Florida Highway Patrol did not have any information on either accident.

The third accident occurred shortly before 3 p.m. at the corner of Ponce de Leon Boulevard and West Jefferson Street, said Brooksville Police Chief George Turner.

A 2006 Buick pulled out of a business parking lot and rammed into the front panel of the bus, Turner said.

Total damage was $1,000 and no injuries were reported. The bus was full of students, he said.
Turner did not know which school the students attended.
