Apparently former county commissioner Diane Rowden failed to get the message that the voters in Hernando County no longer considered her a viable representative of their interests after being soundly defeated in her third attempt to be re-elected as a county commissioner.
Why would she possibly now be considering to run as a candidate for state representative based upon her past performance as a county commissioner, which resulted in her ultimate defeat and removal from office and the public dole?!
It appears that Rowden spent too much time on the political bandwagon and has illusions of being somewhat of a county legend (in-her-own-mind) and is again desperately seeking a political career - again on the public dole.
In my opinion, based upon her past political performance, she should reconsider and pursue other employment options, which will relieve her apparent frustration, expenditures and especially exposure of her prior political maneuvering, which resulted in her resounding defeat.
I certainly would not want her representing my interests - would you?
