A man who said no to having sex with his girlfriend because he was tired claims she responded by assaulting him.
Elizabeth Seebach, Brooksville, was charged with domestic battery on Dec. 31 after her boyfriend claimed she bit and hit him, according to a Hernando County Sheriff's Office report.
However, Seebach claims she was defending herself against him.
According to the report, her boyfriend claims that he was trying to sleep when Seebach woke him.
The man claimed she wanted to have sex, and he responded by saying no. She persisted so he then went into the living room to sleep on the couch, according to the report.
He then claims Seebach followed him - flailing her arms. When he tried to restrain her, he told deputies she responded by striking him in the lip as well as biting him on the upper arm and left side of his chest.
When deputies spoke to Seebach, she told them her boyfriend became violent by physically choking her because she wanted sex. She tried to injure her boyfriend out of self-defense, the report states.
Deputies didn't find any injuries on Seebach, but did see them on her boyfriend, according to the report. Deputies also detected alcohol on both of them.
Seebach was transported to the Hernando County Jail, where she was held without bond.
