Dockery for governor

If enough Republican voters support the woman candidate for governor in the primary election (even though she is the underdog), there can be some good, positive changes in Florida government.

That woman is state Sen. Paula Dockery of Lakeland.

For right now, citizens should be aware that she has a proposal, a bill, for a new code of conduct for the Florida legislators (called ethics reform) to stop backroom "sweetheart" deals, among other reforms.

However, the other legislators have ignored her bill for two years and not even allowed it to be discussed. Citizens need to put pressure on their state representatives and state senators to bring up her bill for debate and a vote this year, no matter which party they belong to.

This woman can make positive changes if supported.
