Why is it that Democrats love to blame Republicans when they can't pass legislation? Funny, isn't it, that Democrats had, until recently, 60 votes in the Senate - enough to do anything they wanted. But they didn't because they couldn't control their fellow Democrats.
So therefore, it's the fault of Republicans for being partisan and wanting President Barack Obama to fail! Funny, too, how President George Bush never had anything remotely close to 60 Republicans in the Senate, yet he got bills passed.
Why is it Democrats think it is Republicans who need to work with them and be bipartisan? Actually, it should be the other way around, but Democrats routinely lock Republicans out of sessions and negotiations and routinely shut down any of their amendments. You'd think the Democrats, knowing they can't get their own people to work with them, would actively be striving to work with Republicans, not the other way around.
I hope Democrats continue with their arrogant ways. I really do because I look forward to a tsunami of Republicans washing their pathetic party out of Washington and make history by wiping out the party altogether in a few years.
After all, there is precedent for those who read history. It happened around 1800. History: Something democrats refuse to read and will relive as a result of their arrogance.
