We need to work together

For too long we, the "middle class," have been burdened by our government. As the president has stated, the "middle class" can no longer be sustained if we do not bring back prosperity to all Americans, not just a few.

We have to have the stopgaps returned to keep Wall Street, insurance companies and big banks from controlling our everyday lives. I support President Barack Obama in his effort to help return America to its greatness.

New jobs, infrastructure, health care reform, innovations in technology, education and job security are only a small part of what is needed to put us back to work.

Americans are a "can do" people; we will achieve our goal if we work together.
