Sager making courageous run

» 9 Comments | Post a Comment

Jason Sager is making a valiant run to represent you as your newest member of the U.S. House of Representatives, District 5. He has spoken at events all around this eight-county district and has never been an "unexplained no-show" like his opponent has been for at least eight events.

Jason is a born-again Christian who accepted the Lord, made a profession of faith and was baptized after he and Stephanie moved back to Florida. He expresses his belief in God and the Bible at every event at which he appears, and he is a great witness. He even preached a sermon at a big church in Lakeland one Wednesday evening. Yes, people have attacked him, yet he stays on message, a positive message on how he plans to help America.

He had the courage to run against an established incumbent who was taking the wrong positions on several issues and then Jason continued his crusade, standing up against a powerful foe - the sitting sheriff of Hernando County and his powerful allies at the Hernando County Republican Executive Committee.

Jason will also have the courage to stand up for you, what's right for this country, and is not beholden to special interest groups in Washington. Yes, Jason is a powerful and skilled speaker without notes or teleprompter, a constitutional and fiscal conservative; and all these things will lend themselves well in his position as your representative in Washington! I suggest that he alone in this race has the fortitude and the ability to stand up against the Washington special interest groups, lobbyists, liberals, and progressives!

By now you know, and most of you have known for some time, that I am Jason's father-In-law (not his father). I am proud of him and the stance he has taken to fight to save our country - and our very way of life. Barbara and I voted for him, and many others around this district have already voted for him. You should do the same!

Last night in a straw poll, the Villages Tri County Tea Party group with about 300 in attendance voted 91 percent in favor of Jason! Wow! This is just one of many grassroots groups all over the district that have overwhelmingly voted in Jason's favor.
