There is much discussion offered on both sides of the red-light camera issue. No doubt there is merit to the various opinions.
However, I would suggest that anyone who is opposed to these instruments should simply stand in the vicinity of any major (possibly even minor) intersection in our area. You will see several red-light runners on just about every cycle.
Does the application and rules for the use of these instruments need study and refinement? Of course, but to simply cancel the program is insanity.
