Fighting words

I am shocked and surprised that you would print the letter written by Brian P. Moore on Sept. 18 called "Tragedy and travesty."

I have never read an opinion as dumb as Brian Moore expressed.

For him to say that Rayford was only a half bad criminal and all the charges against him were only half bad was a bit silly. Mr. Moore is blaming our sheriff's department for his death and encouraging the family to sue the sheriff's department.

I know we have an excellent, fair and competent sheriff's department. They do not need crazy opinions like that.

I think Brian Moore should stay off the streets for awhile because I think and hope someone gives him a boxing lesson he won't forget. He deserves it.
