BROOKSVILLE - Planning and zoning commissioners will consider a request from Transmark Construction to build an age-restricted adult congregate living facility on the northeast corner of Toucan and Cessna Drive in Spring Hill.

This would be an expansion of the existing congregate care facility already on the property and include 70 additional beds.

Planning staff is recommending approval.

Also Monday, planning commissioners will consider requests to:

• Open a bait shop and ice machine for people who use the boat ramp at Calienta Street.

• Operate a portable concession trailer on the east side of High Point Boulevard that would be open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday.

• Open a professional office complex, including a walk-in clinic, on the southeast corner of Mariner Boulevard and Portillo Road in Spring Hill.

The planning and zoning meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at the Hernando County Government Center, 20 North Main St. in downtown Brooksville.
