Rocco acquires signatures for 2010 ballot
BROOKSVILLE - County Commissioner Rose Rocco has acquired the 1,230 signatures needed to place her name on the 2010 November ballot.
"We wanted to get it done early and then we can just concentrate on what we need to do," said Rocco, a Democrat.
Rocco said it took her four or five months to get the signatures.
Republicans William Kingeter and Wayne Dukes are vying for Rocco's District 2 seat.
