Re: Tom Cannariato's comment on my recent letter to the editor.

Tom, in your response you called me a lefty, and immediately took the conversation to the personal level; you don't know whether I'm right/left/up/down, or none of the above.

Your gray matter has been trained to conveniently reconstruct another's words to create a virtual "out of body" self-serving tirade based on what you thought you read, not what was actually read.

In so doing you make my point regarding how bloviators of all ilk, are impregnating once independent thinkers such as you, Tom.

Your comments reflect a one-eyed consumption of what I wrote. Go back and re-read my article, this time with both eyes open. You'll find it was a fair and balanced calling out of talking heads of all persuasions.

Now, I would like to make you an offer to facilitate us getting better acquainted. I'm including my e-mail at the end of this letter. Let's do the neighborly thing, like having an eyeball-to-eyeball luncheon meeting.

You pick the date, time, location, and we'll have lunch and compare notes.
