Karen L. Fitzpatrick, 59, of Ridge Manor, died Tuesday, Oct. 20. She was born in Washington, D.C., and moved to this area five years ago from Millsboro, Del.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick was active in foster care and received awards for her unselfish and dedicated work on behalf of foster children.
Survivors include her husband, William; and eight children, Ricky, Michael, Timothy, Terry, Shawn, Matthew, Deborah and Pamela.
