Hernando County commissioners want to reduce or eliminate impact fees. Even if we did not already have a glut of unsold, unoccupied structures, this would be grossly unfair to taxpayers.
It means we taxpayers have to pick up the cost of providing infrastructure to a few builders/developers. That is simply welfare for people and companies that have made poor business decisions.
Not my tax money!
