Area Deaths

John S. Aldridge, 45, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Oct. 14. He was born in Kankakee, Ill., and moved to this area 11 years ago from Illinois.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Jo; a son, Sean Kennedy of New Jersey; three daughters, Stephanie Smith of Spring Hill, and Destiny and Alexandria Aldridge, both of Spring Hill; his mother, Sharon of Illinois; four brothers, Leonard, Robert, Keith and Burton; three sisters, Brenda, Tammy and Connie; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Steve Jahn, 56, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Oct. 14, at his home. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, and moved to this area 20 years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; a son, Larry of New York; a daughter, Tara of Spring Hill; his parents, Rudy and Marie of Spring Hill; three sisters, Denise of Spring Hill, Linda of Georgia, and her twin sister, Carol of New York; and five grandchildren.

Kurt Schmidt, 92, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Oct. 15, at Hernando Care Center in Brooksville. He was born in Berlin, Germany.
Survivors include his wife, Elvira; a son, Rick; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.
