Area Deaths

Diane Mason, 67, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Oct. 2, at Hospice. She moved to this area two years ago from Corpus Christi, Texas.
She is survived by her family.

Leonor "Pat" Wheeler, 89, of Brooksville, died Saturday, Oct. 3. She was born in Key West.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Joseph Wheeler and Richard, both of Brooksville; a daughter, Genevieve Tullis of Seattle, Wash.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Wanda M. Meadors, 79, of Brooksville, died Sunday, Oct. 4, at her daughter's home. She was a lifelong resident of Brooksville.
Mrs. Meadors was employed as head cashier for 23 years at A&P Supermarket. She was a member of Gulf Ridge Park Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Billie K.; a son, David Meadors of Brooksville; three daughters, Penny Creel of Brooksville, and Kathy Johnson and Melissa Madison, both of McMinnville, Tenn.; a brother, Jesse I. Martin Jr. of Brooksville; a sister, Adelaide Hall of Brooksville; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
