Sheriff's office seeks public's help

The Hernando County Sheriff's Office is seeking help in determining how a man who was found unconscious sustained his injuries.
Deputies on Sept. 29 found Vasudev Shenani, also known as Sam, face down in the roadway at the intersection of Osowaw and Shoal Line boulevards.
Because he was unconscious, Shenani was transported by Bay Flight to a local hospital. He was later transferred to the Bay Front Medical Center where he currently is admitted and being treated for his injuries.
Shenani is 58 years old, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has salt and pepper colored hair and a dark tan complexion. When he was found he was wearing a red baseball cap, a Florida Marlin's T-shirt and jeans.
Shenani lives on Applegate Drive in Spring Hill, but is known to frequent the Hernando Beach area.
