Inspired by John 6, the Bible scripture that tells of Jesus and his Apostles feeding 5,000 men with five barley loaves and two fish, volunteers from True Holiness Church of Christ in Brooksville fed about 100 people on Thanksgiving Day.
The free dinners were served from 2 to 4:30 p.m. in the banquet hall of the church on Wiscon Road. Pastor Patrick Webster is fourth from the right. The church can be reached at 352-279-8313.
