King and Bourgoin and their families started firing up their smokers at 5 a.m. Wednesday. Another 25 to 30 turkeys are being cooked by volunteers at their homes. Organizer Fred Glass said approximately 300 to 350 meals will be served to people dining at Xavier Hall, located next to the church, and the remainder will be delivered throughout Hernando County and parts of Pasco County.
